Your personal information: such as your name, user ID, phone number and password are required during initial account registration steps. In later steps, user can provide email, bio, profile photo, language, price per hour for commercial users, availability and location of residence.

Payment Information: Your confidential payment details are managed by our payment partners such as banks, cards networks and mobile money operators. Imama is simply notified when you make a payment.

Your activity details: are encrypted and may be stored on your mobile device. This allows summary information to be shown for faster processing.

2.   Use of This Information

• To facilitate our product and services: We use the information we have to present our product, as well as personalize features and support our product.

• Location-related information: We use location - related information - such as your current location, where you live, your favourite places to go, and businesses with people around you to provide, personalize and improve our Products, as well as advertisements, for you and others.

• Product research and development: We use the information we have to promote, test and improve our products, including research and to experiment with new products and features.

• Ads and other sponsored content: We use the information we have about you - including information about your preferences, actions and links - to select and personalize ads, offers and other sponsored content that we display.

• To enhance security and integrity: We use the information we have to verify accounts and transactions, deal with risky behaviours, detect and prevent spam and other harmful practices, maintain the integrity of our Product.

• Contact you: We may use the information we have to send you market communications, to communicate with you about our Products and to inform you about our policies and terms. We also use your information to respond when you contact us.

Public Information

• These are information which are shared with other users in Imama. These includes user ID, name, bio, location of residence, price per hour, availability and profile photo.

• Other public information may be resulted from other users’ activities. For instance; 

-  Commercial users with the most meetings will be listed in Top gross list. 

-  Commercial users with the top commercial values will be listed in Top paid list.

-  User with the most profile hits will be listed in Popular user list.

Private Information

• These are information which are not shared to other users in Imama. These includes phone number, email and payment details.

• Imama will not disclose your meetings information or schedule unless required by the authorities or the government.

4.  How to Manage your Information

We give you the ability to access, modify and delete your data.

We store data until it is no longer necessary to provide our services and products, or until your account is deleted - which will precede it.

5.   Updates to this Policy

We will notify you before we make changes to this policy and give you an opportunity to review the changed policy before you choose to continue using our Product.
